Vanity Skin MD™ - Mandelic 5
Mandelic 5 is an alpha hydroxy acid serum that contains the chirally correct versions of both l-mandelic acid and l-lactic acid. L-Mandelic acid has a larger molecular weight than other alpha hydroxy acids slowing down epidermal penetration resulting in a more even exfoliation with less irritation. This water-based serum is recommended for skin prone to inflamed acne, non-inflamed acne, fungal folliculitis, and hyperpigmentation.
This serum was created to be used daily or every other day for gentle exfoliation for problematic, oily, acne prone skin. Formulated using a cold-processing technique to ensure that all our bio-active ingredients are maintained at the premium potency for maximum effectiveness.
Mandelic acid, referred to as the “German mandel - almond", is a larger molecule than the glycolic acid molecule therefore can be more easily tolerated on skin types that cannot tolerate glycolic acid. Mandelic acid, as opposed to glycolic acid or lactic acid, has antibacterial properties and is lipophilic "oil loving" making it the choice for oily, blemish prone skin.

Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product.
Directions: On clean skin, apply 1 pump in the AM & PM or as directed. Apply prior to application of moisturizer. Slight tingling may occur. Do not rinse off. Avoid contact with eyes and lips.
